FRIESEN, MAY GENEVA December 7, 1926 - March 9, 2013 Passed away peacefully at Haven Hill Retirement Centre on Saturday, March 9, 2013 at the age of 86. May is survived by her loving family: husband of 62 years, Jake; children, Joyce Dahlman (Warren), Don Friesen (Mary), and Debbie Friesen; grandchildren, Robert Strang (Doris), Mike Strang, Heather Martens (Trent), Andy Friesen (Sandra Emerson), Patti Hillman (Clayton), Sherri Friesen (Keith Owens), and Melissa Davey; great grandchildren, Dorian, Laura, Alex, Victoria and Charlotte. May was an amazing woman, wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and friend. She touched so many lives in a positive way. She will be deeply missed. A Celebration of Life will be held at Concordia Lutheran Church, 2800 South Main Street, in Penticton on Saturday, March 23, 2013 at 11am with a luncheon to follow. We would also like to say thank you to the nurses and doctors of Penticton Regional Hospital and the care aids and nurses of Haven Hill Retirement Centre for the extraordinary care that May was given.
