HOLLETT, EDWARD LAWRENCE was born in Edmonton, Alberta on July 22,1927, and passed away on December 26, 2012, in Penticton, BC. Ed will be fondly remembered by Mary, his loving wife of 58 years, his two sons; Tom (Valerie) and Doug, grandchildren; Heather Yurkoski (Mark), Don Yurkoski and Aubree Jantzen. Ed was a supergrandpa to Allehea Bowen, Hanna Woodkey and Savannah Jantzen. Ed was predeceased by his daughter Linda Yurkoski. Ed was a wonderful friend to many. His working career began as a Marine Biologist with the Ministry of Fisheries and morphed into a career as an Orchardist. Ed was a brilliant duplicate bridge player who attained the rank of Life Master, an accomplished Fly fisherman, and not a bad golfer. After retirement Ed and Mary travelled the world and were the centre and hub of the family and friends with their home lovingly referred to by many as "The Hollett B & B". Ed will be sadly missed by all who knew him. A celebration of his life will be held later in the spring
